COTY: Gucci

Studio JDB was commissioned to translate Gucci’s Alchemist’s Garden into a focused, front-of-house fragrance moment, a compact island that balances luxury storytelling with practical retail needs.

Working closely with the Coty and retail teams, we developed a detailed 3D model that captured every element: from the ivory panelling and brushed gold trims to the illuminated logo band, lightbox imagery, and tiered plinths for each fragrance family. Product blocking, tester positions, and sightlines were all carefully choreographed so the counter feels abundant yet ordered from every approach.

Materials, grain, and lighting were tuned to feel softly luminous rather than loud echoing Gucci’s world while remaining realistic and buildable for local fabrication.

This model reflects our studio’s ethos: considered proportion, quiet refinement, and absolute clarity around how a concept will live on the floor. Before any joinery is cut, stakeholders can already “stand” in front of the counter and understand the full retail story.
