Vision 2026 - Halfway mark
It has been a rewarding week, celebrating store openings with clients while also exploring early-stage concepts and opportunities with new partners.
Over the past few weeks, I've challenged myself to share more of the knowledge I've gained throughout my design career, creating a space on Youtube to discuss workflows, technology, and the evolving role of AI in our industry. The response has been encouraging, and the conversations have reinforced the value of making these insights accessible.
At the same time, balancing client work alongside creating YouTube content has highlighted just how much focus and energy content creation requires.
Looking back on the first half of the year, I'm reminded of the vision I set for myself and the level of commitment required to pursue it. Each year, I dedicate time to reflection and meditation, not only to pause, but to establish clarity and intention for the months ahead.
As knowledge workers, we spend much of our time immersed in digital tools, yet some of the most powerful practices remain decidedly analog. To keep my goals visible and tangible, I create three posters each year and display them in my office, with each one representing a different aspect of the vision I'm working toward.
As I take a short pause from sharing SketchUp workflows and industry insights, I'm revisiting that vision. Two more videos will be released this week, offering a glimpse into the analog side of my creative process and the systems that help me stay focused on the work that matters most.
